During our trip to Kuala Lumpur last week, one of the days for dinner we went to Tarbush Restaurant at Jalan Bukit Bintang (walking distance from The Westin) which serves Lebanese cuisine.

We had an appetizer plate of Hummus, Mutabal, Arabic Salad, Tabouleh, and Falafel all served on one plate. For all of the items, we ordered vegetarian versions. What was told as the appetizer plate was quite like the main course – Lebanese Pita bread and Vegetarian Arabic Sambosa snack (like Indian Samosas). The Arabic green salad was lip-smacking and tasty.

The next day during shopping in China Town we went to Times Square Mall food court. One of the stalls there had a selection of Mock Fish/Chicken/Meat dishes, all vegetarian variations just like the ones I tasted in Hong Kong a few years back.
