I got access to the new DALL·E image editor on my ChatGPT subscription. It lets you edit (modify) generated images easily—zoom in, select, edit with new prompts, and see the magic happen. It’s not always spot-on but quite impressive when it works. Hoping to see this smart editing make its way to Microsoft Copilot. It addresses a key pain point in AI image creation: no need to restart from scratch every time you tweak your prompt. Kudos, OpenAI, for this practical feature!
The DALL·E editor indeed allows users to make edits to generated images through a process known as inpainting, and it also supports outpainting, which lets you extend the image beyond its original borders.
