The other day (August 2018) a relative wanted to upgrade her phone to a new one. Her usage was phone calls, listening to music, video calls and WhatsApp. As a result, the Camera was not a priority, but a good battery life always helps. So I looked for an Android Phone with a good speaker and a lot of storage. I selected Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 (64 GB, 5000 mAh Battery, 13+5MP Camera, 8 MP Front Camera & 4 GB RAM) for Rs.12,499 from Flipkart.

The phone is fast, works well and shipped with a stock version of Android. I liked the 5-magnet speaker and microphone; they are loud and clear. At this price point, I will recommend this phone.
Update Feb 2019: Having tried this phone, my wife liked it a lot and wanted one, so I got her the updated version this month. Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 (64 GB, 4 GB RAM) is pretty much the same and works the same, except for a few upgraded specification – a faster Snapdragon 660 Processor, and, 13 MP front camera. At Rs.13,999 this too feels like a good buy.
