Staying in a vintage bungalow in Kodaikanal
I just got back from a Kodaikanal vacation and I have to share my experience. I was hoping to have a relaxing time in the hill station, which is known as the “Princess of Hill stations” in Tamil but getting there was a hassle with the heavy traffic. Kodaikanal is located in the Palani hills of Tamil Nadu, at an elevation of 7,300 feet above sea level. It has a mild climate and a beautiful artificial lake. When we went last week (13th May 2023), the climate in Kodai was pleasant, not hot but not requiring a sweater either. We had booked an entire Bungalow with six rooms for ourselves, as ours was a large family and we enjoyed the stay. The Bungalow is near the Coakers walk.
The cover picture above shows the captivating relics: an exquisite wall clock, a charming light switch, a vintage radio, and a classic telephone that were in the bungalow.

Yes, it pains me as well to see those pics. At the same time, I feel privileged like millions of my generation who had got a chance to visit WTC before the fateful day.

I was wondering if anyone will spot the keyboard and ask about it . Anyways, let me say it myself. It is a lovely keyboard, a mechanical one, that a friend in the USA recommended and I ordered it from ebay USA: Akko 3087 World Tour Tokyo 87-Key TKL Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Orange Switch
