We rarely pause to notice how quietly some things around us have improved.

Earlier this year, just after New Year’s Eve, I received a request from Europe for a copy of my book, The Founder Catalyst. I posted it from India on 12 January using the most basic option available. India Post air parcel. No express service. No private courier. Nothing fancy.

The book reached Denmark in fifteen days.

What stayed with me was not just the delivery time, but the overall experience. Tracking showed the parcel spent about two days in Mumbai customs. That felt reasonable. Almost reassuring. For something as simple as a book, the process was predictable and uneventful. The cost was ₹1,481. Roughly sixteen dollars.

Denmark is not exactly a high-volume destination from India. Yet the system worked smoothly. I have seen similar reliability earlier with Singapore, but this one stood out because expectations were modest and the outcome was better than expected.

In a world where ideas move instantly, it is easy to forget that basic physical logistics still count. When we do need to send something tangible, it helps when it simply works.

Progress is not always dramatic. Sometimes it shows up quietly, doing its job well, without asking for attention.
