I like the convenience of having these combo meals that present a variety of items in a single order, were made popular initially by Saravana Bhavan, then by Sangeetha and are now available at A2B outlets.
A few weeks ago, when I went to a cinema at PVR AeroHub I visited the Adyar Ananda Bhavan’s A2B outlet in Chennai Airport Metro station. I ordered this simple Mini Lunch which was also called as the “South Indian Rush Lunch” by A2B. It contained Mixed Rice, Sambar Rice, Curd Rice, Poriyal, Chapati, Veg Kurma, Small Papads, Kesari and Pickles.
