The closest I have been to the Himalayas was a vacation to Shimla. But today evening in about half an hour, Dr Srinivasan Periathiruvadi through his breathtaking photos transported me effortlessly to places in the ⛰️mountain range that I can only dream of visiting. Most of the places featured in his “Himalayan Moments” are accessible only by trekking. If you are a nature/landscape lover, don’t miss this photography exhibition. The pictures are on sale too and the proceeds go towards worthy social causes. In case you happen to see the man, ask him for the stories behind each photo. He may not readily reveal the secrets, but try asking him nicely 😁.

My favourite photo was the one titled “Frozen Amphitheatre”. The exhibition🖼️ is open for all & free, till 8th January 2023, 11 AM to 7 PM every day. It is happening at the Ashvita’s art gallery, situated in a lane (2nd Street) after Bannari Amman Towers in Radhakrishnan Salai when coming from the Marina beach towards Music Academy. Enjoy!

[You can read about the talk Dr Srinivasan gave on “DNA of travel” a few years ago, that’s when I met him for the first time]
