Starring Santhanam, Parris Jeyaraj (2021) is a love story that was supposed to be a comedy film. It gets a mangoidiots rating of ‘Rotten’ and available on Sun Nxt.
Prudhvi Raj who comes as Advocate Prakash Raj has done his role well. So has the heroine Anaika Soti, from Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014).
Parris Jeyaraj (Santhanam) is a popular YouTube singer who has a youth following. After a breakup he starts drinking, he gets sober after meeting another college girl and falling in love with her. Did they get married was the story? If I hear you saying what is new here, the answer is nothing. The only reason I managed to watch the full film was a twist about his father that happens after the first hour. Before and after that scene the film was boring. Not to pile on, Santhanam who in the past has given humorous films as a hero appears older for the role and his comedy was stale and didn’t work throughout.
