Rice Flour drawings from over 50 houses in my area (Chennai, India)

Artists are everywhere around us. A morning walk in the area around my house treated me to beautiful kolams (hand drawing on the floor by using rice flour & chalk) to celebrate Pongal (Harvest Festival of the Tamilians). The collages in total have kolams from over 50 houses.

See the variety of design and imagination. Pot, Sugarcane and Peacocks are common themes. From 25 Houses.
