This evening, my friend and I visited the newly opened Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant on G.N. Chetty Road. I met a friend at the newly opened Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant on G.N. Chetty Road. It is located near Vani Mahal, directly opposite the Accord Metropolitan Hotel. For clarity, this Sangeetha is different from Geetham Restaurant, which is further down the same road near the Kannadasan Statue, before Jeeva Park.

Compared to the older Sangeetha outlets, this one feels more spacious. They offer valet parking, so no worries if you’re driving in. The ambience is pleasant, and the interiors are modern and comfortable. Service was attentive and prompt.
I opted for their Evening Special Snacks Combo priced at ₹95. It included:
️Kuzhi Paniyaram (Salt) – 1 piece,
️Kuzhi Paniyaram (Sweet) – 1 piece,
️Sundal – 1 small cup,
️Bajji – 1 piece,
️Vadai – 1 large piece, and a
☕Mini Filter Coffee
It turned out to be a satisfying choice for an evening snack. While everything was good, the mini-filter coffee was excellent.
I enjoyed the Sweet Kuzhi Paniyaram so much that I ordered an extra plate (₹50 for three pieces) to share with my friend. It was a bit oily, but being tempted, I still devoured it without regret!

My friend went for a large filter coffee (₹47.50), which was also great.
For takeaway, I got:
Bhel Puri – ₹80,
Veg Pav Bhaji – ₹140, and
Samosa Chennai – ₹110
All of them turned out well even after a short trip home.

For a long time, this stretch of T.Nagar lacked standalone vegetarian restaurants. Earlier, there was a Vasantha Bhavan opposite Vani Mahal, in the spot where Computer Point once stood, but that shut down a few years ago.
Now, we suddenly have: Geetham Restaurant (on the same road), Aruvi Vegetarian Restaurant, opposite Bharathi Raja Hospital and Thaligai, near Residency Hotel and TTD Padmavathy Thayar Temple (I need to check if it’s still open).
If you’re in T.Nagar, this new Sangeetha outlet is worth a visit!
