Today, I went to two exhibitions that are happening in Chennai.
The first was Karaikudi Nagarathar Sangam’s Karaikudi Sandhai (market) at Rani Meyyammai Hall, Egmore which had everything from expensive diamond jewellery, and vegan sarees to homemade Chettinad delicacies. This is only for a day Dec 24th, from 10 AM to 8 PM.
The second was the Indian Artisan Bazaar happening from 22 Dec 2023 to 31 Dec 2023, at the Cooptex complex, Egmore – this one had about 80 stalls from artisans across the country selling their wares from Chutidar materials, carpets to slippers and ceramic cups.
