On this day in 2004, nineteen years ago, I started writing my blog at venkatarangan dot com. When I wrote the first post that you see below, I never imagined I will still be writing a blog in 2023, or I would’ve written 3560+ posts in English and Tamil, or the posts (in total) will be read over 1.8 million times. Over the decades, my interests and the topics I write about have changed. In the initial years, it was a lot more about Technology, Gadgets and Speeches I gave. In recent years, it has become about Travel, Movie reviews, Books & Management.
I have managed to make a few friends (they are here and know who they are), who started as readers of my blog. Writing has helped me to get clarity (I hope) on my thoughts and has been a great stress-buster, and anxiety-creator as well – I have for years in my pending task list over 50+ travel blog posts which need to be written.
