‘Agashiye’ in Gujarati means ‘on the terrace’

Agashiye, The House of MG, is Ahmedabad’s finest heritage restaurant. They serve authentic Gujarati thali (meal). The regular Thali (set meal) is about Rs.1200 and is served in a ‘Kansa thali’, a plate made from alloy with medicinal properties.  The other one is the silver Thali served on a ‘silver’ plate is about Rs.1900 – both get unlimited servings with a few additional dishes in the higher-priced variety.

To my convenience, it is completely a vegetarian affair here and I loved it. You lose count on the number of dishes they serve. The service by their waiters here is awesome, attentive and affectionate.
