Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu (இருட்டு அறையில் முரட்டு குத்து) is an adult-comedy that tries to be a ghost film, the latter being an excuse to include a story as an afterthought. The hero and his friend with their respective girl-friends stay in a remote beach house in Bangkok that’s haunted by a female ghost that goes after male occupants of the house. They are joined by a few others who accidentally enter the house, how all of them escape from the house and did the hero marry his girlfriend is the reminder of the story.

If you can stand a screenplay that is a string of double meaning dialogues and scantily clad women, you can enjoy this cinema, otherwise, you will find it unwatchable. That’s all there is to the film that has Gautham Karthik and Vaibhavi Shandilya as the lead pair, supported by Yaashika Aannand. They are joined by Chandrika Ravi, Karunakaran, “Mottai” Rajendran, Bala Saravanan, John Vijay and Jangiri Madhumitha.
