For the second year, Tamil Nadu State Government is organizing an International Book Fair, this year called CIBF 2024. This is a forum to get representatives from countries around the world, publishers of many languages to bring their books to Tamil and for Tamil books to be taken internationally. A worthy initiative. This year, luckily, I was invited to attend the event as a visitor, which I did. There were many stalls from around the world – Asia, Europe, and Africa. I listened to two panel discussions and went around the country stalls – a few books captured my attention.
