My movie reviews are finally getting noticed! After 21 years of blogging and reviewing films from around the globe, I’ve finally received my first takedown notice. I’m oddly flattered to be mentioned alongside the giants: India Today, Times of India, New Indian Express, Zee5, and Just Watch.
The movie in question? Irumbu Thirai, starring Vishal. While it was a ‘Ripe’ film, it didn’t exactly sweep awards. My guess on what happened? It’s probably an overzealous AI algorithm at a law firm firing off automatic DMCA complaints. This one made its way from Great Britain to Google.
I’ve filed an appeal, though I’m not holding my breath for Google to respond to my humble ‘personal’ blog. Stay tuned—this could get interesting!
