The Man Who Knew Too Little (1997) is a simple comedy of mistaken identity during a live performance. It works in large part and you are able to laugh in a few places but still leaves you unimpressed. It is available on Amazon Prime Video.

Wallace Ritchie (played by Bill Murray) visits his brother and wife in London for his brother. His brother is entertaining a few business clients from Germany, to get rid of Wallace he books him for a live theatre performance. Instead of going there, Wallace gets mired in a top-level conspiracy and he is mistaken to be spencer, a spy. How Wallace due to his stupidity gets saved in each level and luckily escapes is the story.

I liked the idea of showing the head of a British Government’s Cold-War era agency, conspiring to derail the peace accord between his country and Russia so that things can return on how they were earlier, resulting in his power and money coming back. Bill Murray has the done role well which keeps us watching the film till the end.
