Last week (2 January 2019) while I was in Hyderabad, and, a relative took me to the Shri Jagannath Temple in Banjara Hills. Modelled on the Puri Jagannath Temple, this is a smaller one, yet beautiful and well-maintained. We visited on a late evening and it was peaceful and divine. There are smaller shrines dedicated to Lakshmi, along with Shiva, Ganesh, Hanuman and Navagrahas.
The tower (Shikhara) measures over 70 feet in height and made out of 600 tonnes of sandstone

On the walls in the corridors outside, there are beautiful depictions of Sri Krishna Leela – this one is Baby Krishna stealing butter with his friends

If you are in the area, don’t miss to visit the temple and pray to Lord Jagannath.
