Windows Phone does a nice job of integrating your social networks (LinkedIn, Twitter & Facebook) into People Hub and voiding the need for separate apps for most common tasks. But it’s nice to have the official apps for accessing the latest and proprietary features of each platform. As a recent convert to Windows Phone, I felt good that Twitter is investing and updating its app this week for the platform.
I never had a complaint about the existing version of the Twitter App on Windows Phone, but the new version makes it consistent across mobile platforms. This makes my transition from iPhone to the Windows Phone version super smooth. I wish they soon release their Metro UI App for Windows8 too!
