In my independent house in South Chennai, we have few (just few, its not a farm) coconut trees for many years. Unfortunately 2 of them became infected and dried up. It was recommended by experts that we cut them down. We hired a contractor who charged Rs.8000 (all inclusive), brought few professionals, a mechanised axe and finished the job in about two hours.
