Today we had a friend’s meet in Anokhi restaurant, Chamiers Road, Chennai. The restaurant is inside a vintage bungalow called “The Chamiers House”, opposite to Adyar Park Hotel. The cuisine is mostly continental, Italian and sandwiches. The food carries a stiff price tag, you pay for the ambience and service.
I enjoyed drinking a few bottles of flavoured soda that came in Codd-Neck bottles. In Tamil, we call this drink as Goli Soda meaning Glass Marble Soda. The drink is made by a local company The Madras Beverage – Kozzmo.

In a function I attended this week, I saw the organizers were serving Goli Soda, in multiple flavours (seen below):
