Yesterday while returning from Udaipur to Chennai I was in transit at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai. Though I have been to Mumbai airport many times in the past, this was my first visit to the airport got completely renovated a few years back. The airport is huge, I had to walk for few Kilometres inside the airport to reach my other gate. The interiors have been tastefully done. The airport has plenty of shops and eateries in the food court.
Due to the demonetization of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 currency notes, though the food was everywhere around me in Mumbai airport, I had nothing to eat. Credit card networks not working. With the tens and fifties, I had managed to get a lemonade for Rs.80, the cheapest item here.
