IBACO Ice Cream Treat
I love #IBACO icecreams.
Today, after my completing evening walk, I decided to treat myself to a liberal scoop of ice-cream. I went to IBACO, my favourite ice cream store and got a Balsamic Fig & Mascarpone. The salty cheese taste was out of this world. Super!
IBACO Ice creams are made by Hatsun Agro, the same company that makes Arun Ice creams, Arokya milk products and more. They use dairy raw materials (milk), unlike the multinational brands which in the name of being trans-fat free use hydrogenated vegetable oil, which are cheaper and contain no nutrition value or vitamins like dairy products (it will be different if you are lactose intolerant). As per law/guidelines in India, only those that are made with milk can be labelled as ice cream, those which don’t have to be called as Frozen Desserts.

A few years back, I did try with Homemade ice cream, which was way healthier, but nowhere close to this one in terms of taste and satisfaction.
Update: 28th March 2022
(I updated the featured image on the top of this page today)
Today, I stumbled on their website where I noticed they have published a chart listing all their products including ice cream, ice cream cakes and chocolates, along with their nutritional information and more importanly the ingredients that may cause allergies (a severe health hazard for the affected) for some people. Maybe it is statutory that they needed to do this as their icecreams are not sold in a packaged container, but anyways, I thought it was a move that had to be appreciated.

To add, I like the taste of IBACO icecreams and their serving. They sell on weight. For a typical two-scoop cup weighing 180 grams, it will cost Rs 200 in 2022.
I also like their ice creams cake and chocolates which are scrumptious. Here are some pictures of their products.
