Aranmanai (அரண்மனை) is a Horror Comedy Tamil Film directed by Sundar C. The film stars Sundar C, Vinay Rai, Santhanam, Hansika Motwani, Andrea Jeremiah, Raai Laxmi, Kovai Sarala and Manobala.
The story is about how a palace property gets renovated after many years and the owning family stays in it for few weeks before a final sale. During those weeks, mysterious deaths happen in the palace and the family members start to see ghosts. Rest of the story is how Hero Sundar C, resolves the problem. The screen play is uninspiring especially the climax sequence. What makes the movie watchable was Santhanam who sneaks into the palace in search of a photograph to prove his rights to inheritance, but what he finds in the end after much struggle is a good laugh.
Overall, for a Director who has created comedy masterpieces this is an ordinary attempt.
