I am a fan of the Kandasamy’s on Netflix, and I couldn’t wait to watch Kandasamys: The Baby (2023). This is the fourth film in the comedy series from South Africa. It is about two families, neighbours living in Durban, South Africa. Their children Prishen and Jodi fall in love in the first film, get married in the second, go on a trip in the third and in this one (the fourth) they are having a baby. As usual, the two Indian mothers are a handful and try to instruct every step of raising the baby, the couple tries to keep them occupied by arranging tours of Mauritius, but they fail. A nice concept but the screenplay was weak. Since I had invested in the series, I enjoyed this one. But for others, if you haven’t watched at least a couple of the earlier ones you will not appreciate the film. It gets a Raw from mangoidiots.
