The Two Faces of January (2014)

The Two Faces of January is about a joint escape by a master swindler and a petty conman. It is set in Greece and takes us to a few places in the lovely country. The film is watchable, but there are no twists, you just keep waiting for a big reveal. It is available on Amazon Prime Video.

It is the 1960s, Chester MacFarland (Viggo Mortensen) and his wife Colette (Kirsten Dunst) are staying in one of the most expensive hotels in Athens, Greece. There an American tour guide Rydal (Oscar Isaac)  befriends them, but from the beginning, Chester doesn’t trust Rydal, but Colette takes a liking. Due to an unfortunate event, the couple seeks the help of Rydal to escape the country. Did they succeed and why are they running is the story?

The three leading actors have done their role.
