A lot was hyped about this Silambarasan‘s gangster film, but for me it was a letdown despite its grandeur settings and theme. The first half was entirely about Gautham Karthik, who utilized the opportunity very well and was impressive. The second half was about STR‘s character, who tried his best to look serious and dramatic, but failed. The transition between the two parts was abrupt, I wanted to root for them, but I couldn’t. The film gets a Rotten rating from Mangoidiots.
The famous Tamil poet Manushyaputhiran has done the role of an NGO founder well. Redin Kingsley has given a slight variation from his usual performance. Priya Bhavani Shankar was impressive. A R Rahman‘s background score was average.
