My Brother the Time Traveler (2017) is a Christmas-themed family comedy. Living their lives away from each other, two brothers meet up for a Christmas at their country cabin; do they manage to reconcile and put their past behind them is the story. And, one of them claims to be a time traveller which is difficult for the other to believe.
The film starts off pretty slow and dull, but as the family bond and love feelings kick in the movie picks pace. Though the main plot is the brothers’ sentiment and family dynamics, which were brought out well, there is the suspense of whether Jake (the younger brother) really is a time-traveller. The answer turns out to be one you will not be expecting!
Good performance by the lead actors-Maclain Nelson, Clare Niederpruem and Jake Van Wagoner-their first names in the film is the same as their real names. After I watched the film I learned it was a successful Kickstarter-funded project.
