There are films whose description is the only good thing about the whole film. An example of this will be the Italian comedy Five Star Christmas (2018). The description went like this – “When the Italian Premier finds a dead body in his hotel suite, on a trip to Hungary, he gets embroiled in comedic situations.”. It felt like a perfect way to spend the holiday hangover, instead the movie was a bummer!
The characters were poorly defined, throughout the film we are not sure whether any of them are being serious or trying hard to be comic and failing. After thirty minutes when we feel there was some plot, it unravels fast and then winds the same way again and again. There was no new idea after the first five minutes.
