Blackmail (2018) handles with a scoop of comedy, the age-old plot of a husband taking revenge after learning of his wife cheating with her former boyfriend. The twist being, instead of physically assaulting the boyfriend, the husband blackmails him for money and it goes awfully wrong.
What could’ve been an interesting film, turns out to be a drag due to a slow-paced screenplay till the last 15 minutes. Literally, Irrfan Khan carries and runs with the entire film.
