Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (2018)

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (2018) is an interesting experiment (released as an original film) by Netflix to provide interactive entertainment – to offer multiple narratives at every turning point in a story and let the viewer(s) make a selection. The idea has been around for a long time in video games (decades ago, I had programmed interactive quizzes in Atari) and to a limited way by a few adult entertainment titles, but this is the first time it has come mainstream. The film is available on Netflix and gets a Raw.
I am a fan of the Black Mirror TV Series and was expecting a lot from this film, but other than the interactive aspect, there was nothing new in the storyline or the characters – it was all familiar to regular viewers of the series and nowhere radical to what we have been seeing from the series writer Charlie Brooker.
