The latest film directed by Vijay Milton, starring Vijay Antony, is another uninspired sequel. The story revolves around a former secret service officer compelled to deliver justice for innocent victims through force. Mangoidiots rates it as Raw for its brisk pace, even though the screenplay lacks originality.
The film begins with an animated sequence explaining the hero’s background and his reason for living anonymously in Andaman. R Sarathkumar, Sathyaraj, and Thalaivasal Vijay have minimal roles. Megha Akash, playing the love interest, performs well, as does Saranya Ponvannan. Pruthvi Ambaar, as the hero’s friend, delivers an adequate performance. Murli Sharma, portraying a corrupt police officer, fails to leave a mark.
Though the movie is supposed to be set on a remote island in the Andamans, it feels more like a North Indian town. In several scenes, the film has a dubbed feel. The climax between the villain and hero comes off as a tedious moral lesson, and the final scene is surprisingly amateurish.
Overall, An uninspired sequel with a brisk pace but lacking originality.
