Greater Kalesh from 2025 caught my eye because it runs for just fifty-two minutes. I played it out of curiosity. It is a Hindi film on Netflix about a young woman who returns to her home in Delhi for Diwali and realises what she has been missing in her own family. The film is not exceptional, but I enjoyed watching it and will recommend it when you want a short and simple watch. Mangoidiots rates it Raw.
Twinkle Handa, played very well by Ahsaas Channa, works in Bengaluru and returns to Delhi for the festival. She expects her home to be as perfect as she remembers. As the celebrations approach, Twinkle peels away the surface and sees her father and brother carrying secrets of their own. Her mother seems lost in the middle of it all. The film follows how Twinkle processes these changes and reconnects with her family.
The casting works well for the roles, especially the daughter and mother played by Ahsaas Channa and Supriya Shukla. Both bring the right balance of warmth and tension to the story.
