Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the reboot of the franchise, after the purchase by Disney. This is the seventh part of the series, continuing from the sixth – “Return of the Jedi” after the empire was destroyed. The Galaxy is now governed by the Republic, a set of former rebels under General (Princess) Leia continue to keep the legacy of resistance alive to fight the “The First Order”, which has replaced the Empire and represents the dark side.

We see new characters introduced in the film – Rey, a young scavenger who gets into helping the resistance; Finn, a former stormtrooper who jumps to the light side; Poe Dameron, the fighter pilot of the resistance working under General Leia; and BB-8, the Android belonging to Poe. On the dark side, we see the Supreme Leader Snoke; Kylo Ren, a dark warrior on the dark side; and, General Hux the commander of The First Order. Apart from this, we see the legends – Hans Solo, Chewbacca & General Leia.

I found the plot and storyline reminding mostly of Star Wars 4th and 5th parts. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable.
