Space Force (TV series) is a brand new comedy TV show, a Netflix original. It is made by the star of The Office (USA) Steven Carell and Greg Daniels, the creator of The Office, SNL, The Simpsons, and many other popular shows. The story is about the newly created (sixth) branch of United States Armed Forces, named US Space Force, the unit is in a chaotic race to attain space supremacy over their adversaries. I found the show to be average, nothing noteworthy or engaging. The show highlights how incompetent the current US administration has become, especially the POTUS (President…

Murder Mystery (2019) is a comedy, mystery film released on Netflix. Starring Adam Sandler as an average New York Police officer Nick Spitz and Jennifer Aniston, who comes as Audrey Spitz, Nick’s wife. To celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary they travel to Europe on a shoestring budget. Luckily they get invited by a wealthy billionaire to a private yacht that’s sailing near Morocco. There on the boat and then off the boat a serious of murders happen and the Spitz couple becomes the prime suspects to the local police – how they fumble their way to solve the case on…

Spy Intervention (2020) is a comedy spy film, that was pointless & goofy; if you tolerate that, then the film can be a bit entertaining. I can’t say the film to be a thriller, as there was no mystery anywhere. Corey Gage (Drew Van Acker) is a spy working for an unknown Government secret agency and along with his buddy, Smuts is on the chase for a weapons dealer. In one occasion, he meets a pretty lady Pam Grayson (), falls in love for her, resigns his job and settles down as a family man. That’s when Smuts and others…

For a long time this film was in my watchlist – Searching (2018). It is about Korean single-parent, David Kim (played by John Cho) living in San Jose, California on a desperate search of her daughter Margot Kim (played by Michelle La) gone missing. This is an interesting thriller that has quite a few unexpected twists including the climax. The film starts with the Windows XP Wallpaper :-) Most of the film revolves around what’s on Kim’s and Margot’s computers. A very different narration style to what we have seen normally. Director Aneesh Chaganty has succeeded in keeping the screen…

The Circle (2017) has stayed in my watch list for quite some time due to its poor ratings. Now that it appeared on Netflix I watched it today. With a rural girl from a working family, an ailing father, and, a childhood (boy) friend. Helped by her friend, this girl Mae Holland gets to work at the world’s richest company – The Circle. The shape of the campus (The Circle) is meant to indicate the (then) richest company in real – the Apple Computers and its new spaceship campus. Quickly we see parts of Mark Zuckerberg,  Larry & Page, Steve…
