Due to pressure from her mother, she takes up a teacher job at a small village 150Kms away from her town. Living in a village alone, unmarried she is of intense scrutiny by the villagers. Her “remote” love life through letters falls apart and due to sudden events she ends up marrying the village handyman. Director Giorgia Cecere, has crafted well the scenes showing the tiny classroom. We are literally transported to that small village and to the classroom benches.
